The Demon football team will host the team that is in the driver’s seat to win the district championship. The Solon Spartans come to town tonight. The Spartans had their 42 game winning streak snapped in the second week of the season by Regina, but haven’t lost since. Last week they beat then number one ranked Williamsburg 22-7 in Solon. For the Demons they are coming off a close 35-34 loss to South Tama, in which they fought back from a three touchdown deficit. Demon Head Coach Randy Shrader says with his team closing out the season with the top two teams in the district it will be a good measuring stick for where the program is at.
