The Washington JV football team lost to South Tama last night 10-0. Coach Steve Roth says the Trojans scored a touchdown on their first drive and after they made some adjustments defensively, the Demons were able to stop them. For Washington, Maverick Goodwin had 5-carries for 24 yards, Jordan Kay 4-carries for 10 yards and Alan Sanchez had a 12 yard reception. Defensively Spencer Woods and Wyatt Shelangoski each had 9 tackles. The Demon varsity squad will host Solon on Friday.
