The Washington City Council has approved Corn Country Cruisers to use Washington’s Central Park and Square the second Saturday of May, June, July and August next summer. Cruisers President Mike Williams was thanked at the city’s last council meeting for being “flexible” with their events. Mayor Johnson said the July 10th cruise featuring an Elvis impersonator was a “fantastic … wonderful event” and thanked the Corn Country Cruisers for making the City of Washington “look good.”
