The City of Wellman has lifted their sewer usage notice. Residents this week were asked to limit sanitary sewer usage as a result of significant flooding. Wellman Public Works Director Aaron Schumaker says they lifted the notice yesterday, and standing water levels have decreased in the city. Schumaker says cleanup is going well, and that most of the remaining cleanup is damage done to people’s homes. The city is providing residents with roll out dumpsters that will be left out for a week. The Red Cross also is providing cleanup kits for residents, and can be picked up at City Hall.
