The Daughters of the American Revolution is hosting the First Annual Fiber Arts Day this weekend.  The event is taking place at the historic Alexander Log House in Washington’s Sunset Park.   Julie Beenblossom of the D-A-R says the day will feature a variety of spinning wheels, knitting and crocheting, tatting, and weaving performed by community members.  Beenblossom says the music group ‘Prairie Serenade” will perform fiddle, Celtic, waltzes, and folk music.  The First Annual Fiber Arts Day is Sunday at the Alexander Log House in Washington’s Sunset Park beginning at noon with the opening of the log house, and at 2pm the Fiber Arts events kick off.
