The Demons baseball got their first look at Fort Madison last night and Washington used paience at the plate to come away with a sweep. Demon Head Coach Nathan Miller says they drew several walks in the first game getting six passes. The Demons had five hits in that first game with Anthony Ossman getting a base hit and Brad Weatherman and Jordan Gier each getting two hits. The Demons took the first game 5-0 with Kaleb Rich pitching.

In the second game the Demons got up early scoring five runs in the second inning winning on their way to a 13-1 win in six innings. Miller liked his team’s situational hitting and did good job of moving runners. The Demons improve to 5-1 in the conference. They go on the road to take on West Branch tonight.
