The Washington Demons softball team was hosting New London last night. Originally they were suppose to play West Branch on the road but West Branch needed to make up a conference game, so the Demons added New London to the schedule. Last night the Demons won big 14-2 in three innings. Head Coach Angie Shrader says they got some big hits from multiple girls. Katy Jo Jenkins had a three run double, Sammy Ellingson three run triple, and Caitlin Fishback three run double. The Demons now get set for a big conference doubleheader against sixth ranked Fort Madison. The Demons split with the Bloodhounds early on in the season.
