The first of many 4th of July celebrations in Washington County is coming up.  The United Presbyterian Home in Washington is gearing up for their Independence Day celebration on June 30th.  The parade begins at ten with the lineup starting at 9:45.  After the parade there is a baked goods silent auction in the Campus Center, lunch under the tent with free hot dogs, chips, cookies and root beer with a brass band performing that afternoon.  The public is invited to attend.  Bringing a lawn chair or blanket is encouraged.  Anyone interested in participating in the parade should call the U.P. Home.  The United Presbyterian Home Independence Day Celebration is Wednesday, June 30th with parade starting at ten.
