Two Oskaloosa residents were hospitalized after a crash on Highway 1 yesterday morning. The Iowa State Patrol says 73 year old William Cleland was northbound near mile marker 81 at about 10:00 am. They say Cleland didn’t slow down enough when he got to a road work zone, and rear ended a vehicle driven by 67 year old Mildred Siren of Keota. Police say Siren’s vehicle was forced into a third which was driven by 34 year old Ryan Baumert of Washington. William Cleland and his passenger, 73 year old Patricia Cleland, were taken by ambulance to University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.
