Four projects in Washington are being honored by Main Street Iowa. Main Street Washington Executive Director Amy Vetter says one of the awards was for the new public library, which was recognized as the best new project. Other awards included best retail event for Slow Down and Savor Washington. Best business success story for the Village and the best image campaign for the ceremonial SWEEPS or Supporting Washington’s Economic Enhancement Projects.
