press play to hear from BOS Chair Jim Miksch

Washington County Supervisors have approved an amendment to the proposed zoning ordinance that expands setback requirements. Board Chairman Jim Miksch says it adds the setback that would be mandated for new residential uses for farm operations in ag districts to commercial and ag residential districts. The ordinance is expected to be up for second reading at next week’s meeting. After that, it would likely be up for a final vote by the supervisors at the following week’s meeting.
