The Demon boys basketball team got a nice road win on Saturday beating Pella. The night before Pella beat number one ranked Norwalk 51-38, while the Demons lost to number two ranked Mount Pleasant 64-50. On Saturday Washington got the win 62-55. The Demons were up at the half 23-22, and it was a one point game going into the fourth with Pella up 35-34. The Demons were able to out score Pella 28-20 in the final frame for the win. The Demons had beaten Pella Christian earlier this season. They will face another Little Hawkeye Conference team on Thursday when they host Grinnell. The game was added to the schedule to replace a game postponed because of weather and later canceled after the schools couldn’t find a make up date.
