In the boys game the Demons got down early but had a three point lead by the start of the second quarter. They led 35-27 at halftime and would win 79-63. Colton Covington led Washington with 23 points, Head Coach Bryce Smeins thought early on their post players were going to have to play well with Tipton running a triangle and two focusing on Issac Gardner and Alex Vogel. Issac Gardner had 19 points, Josh Moore 12, and Alex Vogel 11. The Demons improve to 7-1 overall and now will head on the road tomorrow to face Morning Star Academy in Benttendorf. There are three Demons that are a little lighter on top, as after the win over Tipton, an auction was held to see who would get to shave the heads of Issac Gardner, Colton Covington, and Nic Williams. The money raised from the various activities held as of Pink Out Night goes to American Cancer Society and Relay for Life.
