The Iowa Better Business Bureau is issuing a warning about holiday scams. The group’s Chris Coleman says there are those who try to falsely represent well known charities. Coleman says the often change the words slightly and make people believe they’re giving to a reputable organization. . Coleman says you should ask how a charity intends to use your donation…and be wary of anyone who expects you to donate on the spot without giving you time to do that little bit of extra research.
