A local high school football officiating crew is headed to the UNI-Dome. The crew consists of referee Jim Buitendorp, Umpire Mark Weidman, Line Judge Mike Roth, Linesman Aaron Six, and Back Judge Jacob Thorius. Semifinal officials are selected based on feedback they receive from teams they officiate for throughout the season. Mike Roth says they’ve had games all season and all of the postseason rounds. He says they did a semifinal game two years ago, but this is the first season they’ve had assignments all season and all of the rounds of the postseason up through the semifinals.
