In the UNI-Dome last night, the WACO Warriors struggled to get much going against the number one ranked North Tama Redhawks. North Tama won 39-0. The Redhawks seemed to dial up the right play consistently doing it with a mixture of run, pass, deception and even a wide receiver option play. For the Warriors, they would show flashes offensively but a few drives where they managed to come up with third and short would be moved back by a penalty. The stat of the game was probably totals yards as North Tama racked up 427 total yards and WACO was held to 92. For WACO Spencer Shepherd had 15-carries 54 yards and Tad Morrow 13-carries 48 yards. So the Warriors end their season with an 8-4 record and North Tama improves to 12-0 and will face Newman Catholic, Mason City who beat NU High, Cedar Falls 35-7.
