The Washington Demon football teams chances of making the post season are still alive but have been taken out of their hands. In order to be the fourth team out of the district the Demons would need to win Friday night when they travel to Fort Madison. Demon Head Coach Jason Ganoe says looking at the different scenarios if Mount Pleasant were to beat Fairfield, Mount Pleasant and Fairfield would get into the post season with Williamsburg and Clear Creek Amana being the other two teams to qualify. Williamsburg and Clear Creek Amana play each other in the final week and that game comes down to the district championship game. If Clear Creek Amana wins then Williamsburg and Clear Creek Amana would each have one district loss and head to head the Clippers would have the advantage. For the Demons to get in they need to beat Fort Madison and Fairfield needs to beat Mount Pleasant.
