The Mt. Pleasant High School is seeing an unusually high number of absences due to the flu. Superintendent John Roederer says 150 students have missed classes due to the flu. The school has a total student population of nearly 700. Roederer says they don’t know if they are seasonal or H1N1 flue cases. The absences forced Mt. Pleasant to postpone yesterday’s volleyball match with Washington until October 19.
