Two downtown street intersections in Washington will be closed beginning today (9/14) as the city prepares for crosswalk brick paving. Main Street Washington Executive Director Amy Vetter says the intersections of Iowa Ave. and East Washington; and Marion Ave. and East Washington will be closed to street traffic for two days. Vetter says all businesses on the square have planned to remain open during the construction.
