Memorial service for 55 year old Douglas Duane Farrier of Mesa, Arizona formerly of Washington is being held at the Beatty Funeral Home Saturday, December 29th at noon. Visitation will be held from 10 to the time of the service. Burial will follow the service at the Brighton Hillcrest Cemetery in Brighton. In lieu of flowers memorial may be made to the Brighton United Church of Brighton, Iowa. The Beatty Funeral is handling the arrangements.

Celebration of life services for 85 year old Max M White Jr of Washington, formerly of Ainsworth is being held at 1pm Sunday at the Jones & Eden Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at noon Saturday at the funeral home where the family will receive friends from 2 to 5pm. Interment will take place at the Oregon Township Cemetery in Ainsworth with military honors conducted by Ainsworth American Legion Post 351 and Washington American Legion Post 29.  In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to Hospice of Washington County or Wounded Warrior Project (www.woundedwarriorproject.org).  Online condolences may be sent for Max’s family through the web at www.jonesfh.com.
