Funeral Services for 83 year old Clarabelle Durian of Wellman are at 10:00 tomorrow morning at the Kalona Christian Fellowship Church. Burial is at a later date in the Wassonville Cemetery. Visitation is from 2-8 today at the Yoder-Powell Funeral Home in Kalona with family present from 2-4 and 6-8. Memorials have been established to Wassonville Cemetery or Mercy Hospice Care Unit.

Funeral Mass for 78 year old Joan (pronounced JoAnn) Hammen of Harper is 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 16, 2010, at Holy Trinity Parish – St. Mary Catholic Church in Keota.  Burial will be at Holy Trinity Cemeteries – St. Elizabeth Cemetery in Harper.  Visitation is from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, January 15, 2010, at Powell Funeral Home in Keota, where there will be a wake service at 5:00 p.m.  Memorials will go towards the memorial marker for St. Elizabeth Church in the St. Elizabeth Cemetery in Joan’s name.
