Graveside Services for 86 year old Delmar L. Romine of Lone Tree, formerly of Washington, will be held at 4:00 Saturday (6/5) afternoon at Conesville Cemetery in Conesville where burial will take place. Memorials have been established to Pioneer Park Assisted Living Center and Hospice Compassus.

Funeral Services for 62 year old Jerry D. Hanshaw of Salem are at 10:00 Friday (6/4) morning at the Olsen-Powell Memorial Chapel in Mount Pleasant. Burial with fully military rites will be in the Oakland Mills Cemetery. Visitation begins at 2pm Thursday (6/3) at the Olsen-Powell Memorial Chapel with family visitation from 5-7pm. A general memorial has been established

Funeral Services for 81 year old Rhea C. Logan of Washington are Saturday (6/5) morning at 10:30 at Jones-Eden Funeral Home. Burial will take place at the Elm Grove Cemetery in Washington. Visitation begins noon Friday (6/4) at the Jones-Eden Funeral Home with family present in the evening from 6-8pm. A memorial has been established for the United Methodist Church Elevator Fund.

Celebration of life services for Rex E. Allensworth will be held Friday (6/4) at 2 pm at the Kalona United Methodist Church in Kalona. Burial will be in the Sharon Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday (6/3) from 2-8 pm at the Peterseim Funeral Home in Kalona with a Masonic service at 7:30.

Funeral Services for 85 year old Mary Ardith McGuire of Washington will be held at 10:30 Thursday (6/3) morning at Jones-Eden Funeral Home. Burial will be at the Elm Grove Cemetery in Washington. Visitation begins at noon Wednesday (6/2) at the Jones-Eden Funeral Home in Washington with family visitation from 6 – 8 Wednesday (6/2) evening. A memorial has been established for Prairie Flower Baptist Church or Halcyon House Good Samaritan Fund.

Funeral Services for 79 year old Kenneth W. “Mose” Hesser of Coppock will be Thursday (6/3) morning at 10:30 at the Cottonwood United Methodist Church. Burial will be at a later date at the Brighton Hillcrest Cemetery with military honors. Visitation begins at noon Wednesday (6/2) at the Beatty Funeral Home in Wayland with family receiving friends from 6 – 8pm. Memorials may be designated for the Wayland Rescue Squad or the V.A. Medical Center.

Funeral Services for 76 year old Kenneth Harrison of Columbus Junction are Wednesday (6/2) morning at 10:00 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Riverside. Burial will be in the Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Riverside. Visitation will be Tuesday (6/1) from 4 – 7pm with a prayer service at 7, at the Sorden-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services in Riverside. A time for food and fellowship will be held at the St. Mary’s Parish Center following the committal services at the cemetery.

Memorial mass for 86 year old Dorothy K. Greiner of Keota will be 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 2, 2010, at Holy Trinity Parish – St. Mary Catholic Church in Keota.  Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday at the church.  Memorials have been established to the Holy Trinity Cemetery Fund, Keota Fire Department or Hospice Compassus in Dorothy’s name.
