Funeral services for 86 year old Lorna Cordwell Shepherd of Ainsworth are Saturday (10/23) at 10:30 am at the Jones Eden Funeral Home with burial in Elm Grove Cemetery.  Visitation is Friday (10/22) at Noon at the funeral home with family present from 6 to 8 pm.  A memorial has been established to Restoration of Strawbridge-Shepherd House in Springfield, Illinois, or Washington County Hospice.

Bower of Oskaloosa, formerly of Washington, are Friday (10/22) morning at 10:30 at the Beatty Funeral Home in Washington with burial in the Elm Grove Cemetery with full military honors.  Visitation is Thursday (10/21) at Noon at the funeral home with family present from 6 to 7:30.  A memorial has been established to the First Assemble of God Church.

Funeral services for 92 year old Estella Luers of Keota will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday (10/21), at Bethel United Methodist Church in rural Sigourney. Burial will be at Bethel Cemetery across from the church. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on tomorrow (10/20), at Powell Funeral Home in Keota.  A memorial fund has been established for Bethel United Methodist Church.
