Funeral Services for 87 year old Margaret “Bette” Linville of Columbus Junction is Friday (9/3) at 1:30pm at the Stacy-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services in Columbus Junction. Burial will be at Columbus City Cemetery. A memorial has been established at the funeral home.

Funeral services for 77 year old Kevin D. Hindshaw, 77 of Richland will be held at 10:30 A.M. Saturday September 4, 2010, at Woolson Friends Church with Rev. Harlan Van Voorst officiating. Burial will be in Richland Friends Cemetery with Military Honors by American Legion Post No. 504, Richland. Visitation at Gould Funeral Home in Richland will open at 3:00 P.M. Friday September 3, 2010. The family will be present 6-8:00 P.M. Friday evening. Memorials to Iowa City Hospice of Iowa City may be left at the church, funeral home.

Funeral Service for 76 year old Harry William “Bill” Kilgore of Ainsworth is Wednesday (9/1) afternoon at 2:00 at the Jones Eden Funeral Home. Burial is at the Oregon Township Cemetery in Ainsworth. Visitation is at noon on Wednesday (9/1) at Jones Eden Funeral Home. Family visitation is from noon to 2:00 Wednesday afternoon. A memorial has been established to the American Cancer Society.

Funeral Service for 88 year old Ruth M. Zieglowsky of Wayland is Wednesday (9/1) morning at 11:00 at the Wayland Mennonite Church. Burial is at the Eicher Cemetery at 10:00 Wednesday (9/1) morning in rural Wayland. Visitation is at noon on Tuesday (8/31)at the Jones Eden Funeral Home. Family visitation is from 6 to 8pm Tuesday evening. Contributions will be donated to charities.

Memorial Services for 79 year old Clifford Brees of Keota, formerly of Cedar Rapids, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday (8/29), at First Lutheran Church in Cedar Rapids. Burial will be at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday (8/29) at Keota Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until service time on Sunday at the church. Memorials have been established to the Brent Brees Memorial Scholarship Fund in Clifford’s name.

Funeral services for 90 year old Geraldine “Gerry” Schlabaugh of Kalona will be held Monday at 3:00 at the Lower Deer Creek Mennonite Church in rural Kalona.  Burial is in the Lower Deer Creek Cemetery in rural Wellman.  Visitation is tomorrow from 3:00 to 7:00pm at the Peterseim Funeral Home in Kalona.  A memorial has been established for the Pleasantview Home or the Lower Deer Creek Mennonite Church.

Funeral Mass for 76 year old John Patrick Strohman sr. of Sigourney will be held 11:00 Saturday (8/21) morning at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Sigourney. Burial will be at a later date. Visitation will be held on Friday (8/20) from 5-8 pm at the Powell Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Sigourney. A general memorial fund has been established.

Funeral services for 73 year old James Mound of Keota are Monday at 10:30 am at the United Church of Faith in Keota. Burial will be in the Keota Cemetery. Visitation is 4 to 7 pm Sunday at the Powell Funeral Home in Keota.
