Description: The United Church of Crawfordsville Annual Soup Supper is on Saturday, November 10th from 4:30 to 6:45. There will be homemade chili, oyster and potato soup. At 7pm the men’s quartet Bound 4 Glory will perform. Everyone is welcome and a freewill offering will be accepted.

Description: Feather and foam pillows are being cleaned, sanitized and deodorized on Tuesday, November 6th from 8:30am to 4pm at the Kalona Mennonite Church. The event is sponsored by Kalona Mennonite WMSC.

Title: Harper K of C Fish Fry
Description: The Harper Knights of Columbus is sponsoring a Fish Fry on Friday, October 19th from 5 to 8pm at the KC Hall in Harper. Whole cat fish and the trimmings will be served. Proceeds go to the Scholarship Fund.

Title: Holy Trinity Parish Harvest Dinner
Description: Holy Trinity Parishes’ Harvest Dinner is being held Sunday, November 4th from 11am to 2pm at St Mary’s Parish Center in Keota. The meal will include turkey, ham, dressing, mashed potatoes and gravy and more. A raffle will be held throughout the afternoon. Tickets can be purchased at the door. Title: Wayland Mennonite Church Fall Festival
Description: Wayland Mennonite Church’s MYF will host a fall festival on Sunday, October 28th at the WACO Secondary Schools gym from noon until 3pm. There will be a silent auction, hay rides, games, crafts, a meal starting at noon and much more. All proceeds help with the youth group attend a summer convention.

Title: Washington Life Chain
Description: This Sunday is National Life Chain Sunday. The Life Chain is a peaceful, pro-life public witness. Local pro-life people will be lining up along HW 92 by Sunset Park for the 4th Annual Washington Life Chain. They’ll meet at the Aquatic Center parking lot at 1:30 and will hold the silent witness from 2-3 pm.
