St. James Church Worship Schedule

Here are the Christmas Service Times for St. James Church, Washington.  Confessions will be Heard on  Thursday Dec. 23rd from 4-5pm.  Christmas Eve Family Mass will be at 5pm, Spanish Mass will be at 8pm.  Midnight Mass will be at 12am on Christmas Day with a full Choir.  Christmas Day Mass will be at 9am.  New Years Day Mass will be at 9:30am.

Washington United Methodist Church Puppet Program

The Washington United Methodist Church at 206 West 2nd Street, invites the community to join them on Sunday, December 19th at 9 or 10:30 a.m. to see the “Puppet’s with a Purpose”.  This puppet program will be presented by the Junior and Senior High School Students and is directed by Tammy Negrete.  All are welcome.

West Chester Blood Drive

The West Chester Community is sponsoring a blood drive for the Mississippi Valley Regional Blood Center on Wednesday, December 29th from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm in the West Chester United Methodist Church at 403 Franklin Street, West Chester.  For more information call Vicki Erwin at 319-698-2515.  Walk-ins welcome!

Kalona Mennonite Church Christmas Eve Service

Washington Church of God Christmas Day Dinner

The Washington Church of God Christmas Day Dinner will be on Christmas Day from noon to 1:30pm. The Dinner is open to the public. There will be Turkey, Ham and all the trimmings. Carry out meals will be available. Reservations are welcome but you can come with or with out. Reservations can be made at 319-653-2946, 319-653-5678 or 319-461-5148. The Church is located at 322 Avenue D in Washington.

Ainsworth Church Garage Sale

The Ainsworth Community Church Garage Sale will be Friday (12/10) 8am – 6pm and Saturday (12/11) 9am to 1pm. Many items are available including clothes, decorations, books, and more. All proceeds go to the mission work of the church.

Reed and Feed Book Club
