United Church of Faith Spaghetti Supper

There will be a spaghetti supper to help support mission teams at the United Church of Faith on Sunday, January 30th from 4:30pm to 6:30pm. A free will donation will be accepted.

The Pleasant Grove Church will be holding their annual pancake supper on Wednesday, February 2nd from 4:30 to 7pm. Cost is a free will offering. In the event of foul weather call 319-480-4706 for information.

UMC Sweethearts Dinner

The United Methodist Church will be having a Sweethearts Dinner Fundraiser followed by their annual auction Saturday, February 12th at 5:30pm. They will be serving a smoked pork chop dinner at 6:00pm, cost is $15/person in advance $18 at the door. The auction begins at 7pm and proceeds benefit the Youth & Church Ministry. To make a reservation contact Jeannie at 653-1879. Childcare and activities will be provided with a light supper for 5th grade & under with a free will donation.

ACTION Spaghetti Dinner

The ACTION summer mission project work group will be holding its annual spaghetti dinner on Sunday, Feb. 13 from 11:30 to 1:00 p.m. at the Asbury United Methodist Church in Wellman. Tickets are: Adults $6.00 and children ages 5-12 $4.00. Carryouts and delivery will be available. The ACTION group was formed from three churches: Asbury United Methodist Church in Wellman, West Chester United Methodist Church and the the Shueyville United Methodist Church. The ACTION group holds this annual fundraiser to raise funds for Habitat for Humanity.

Bethel MYF Annual Potato Bar

Bethel MYF will be hosting their annual potato bar at Bethel Mennonite Church on Wednesday, January 26th. They will be serving from 5:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. A free will donation will go toward the S.W.A.P. (Serving with Appalachian People) Mission Trip this summer.

South East Iowa Singles Meeting

South East Iowa Singles will be meeting on Saturday January 15th, 22nd, and 31st at 5pm for the Alive at Five Worship Service in the basement fellowship hall of First United Methodist Church in Fairfield. They will also be having Pizza at Pizza Ranch at 6pm on January 15th at 6pm in Fairfield. After wards there will be a public dance from 7:30 to 11pm at the Eagles on Highway 1 in Fairfield. Everyone is welcome to attend.

Washington Hospice Annual Soup Supper

Hospice Annual Soup Supper will be on Tuesday January 18th from 4:30-6:30 at the UP Church.  Tickets are $7 for adults and carry outs, $3 for ages 5-12 and under 5 are free.  Tickets are available at the Hospice office and at the door.   For more information, call Hospice at 653-7321.
