Title: YP Washington
Location: Unc and Neph\’s
Description: The next YP Washington event will be this Wednesday, at Unc and Neph\’s from 5:30-7:30. They will have a sign up sheet there for YP Washington board positions along with a discussion as to what they want to do this year. They would like to have events at other places other than Unc and Neph\’s every month, so please attend to share your ideas. Bring a friend and hope to see you there!

Title: Slow Down and Savor Washington
Location: Dino’s, Panda Palace, The Frontier, La Casa Grande and Dodici’s Shop
Description: Main Street Washington is hosting “Slow Down and Savor Washington” on Saturday, January 23rd. This event features special menu items served at Dino’s, Panda Palace, The Frontier, La Casa Grande and Dodici’s Shop. Each menu item will be offered for $3, so you can get a complete meal for less than $20. There will be a mini-bus running a route every 15 minutes to transport people between the restaurants.

Location: Chamber Building
Description: Come join the Chamber, Main Street, and WEDG as they celebrate the Chamber’s 75th Anniversary and show off their Chamber building. They will have food and beverages. All Chamber Members and their employees are welcome to attend, on Tuesday January 19th, from 5 to 7pm.

Description: The Washington Area Habitat for Humanity will be having a Soup Luncheon and Dinner fund-raiser coming up on Tuesday, January 26th. It will be held at the United Presbyterian Church in Washington with lunch serving from 11am – 1pm and dinner from 4:30 – 7:00pm. Carry-out will also be available. A free-will donation will be accepted and all proceeds will go to help support your local Washington Area Habitat for Humanity.

Location: Ikes “New” Clubhouse on County Road X-61 near Wapello
Description: Beat the winter blues with the Louisa County Izaak Walton League at three annual Friday fish fries: Friday, January 15; Friday, February 19 and Friday, March 19. Serving begins at 6:00 pm and costs $9 per person and kids are ½ price.

Title: Potato Bar
Location: Bethel Mennonite Church
Description: Dunamis Youth Group from Bethel Mennonite Church will host a Potato Bar on Wednesday, January 20th from 5:00 – 7:30 at Bethel Mennonite Church. Bethel is located 3 miles north of Wayland on W55. Proceeds will benefit the church college fund and Dunamis going to summer Bible Camp. Free will donations will be taken at the door.
