Description: Cody Meserole from Boy Scout Troop 233 in Washington is currently working on his Eagle Scout project at Hamakua Place, and is holding a free-will carwash fundraiser Saturday to help pay for materials. He will be at O\’Reilley\’s Auto Parts from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. There will be no charge, but will ask for free-will donations.

Description: Keota’s Annual Community Wide Garage Sale is Friday and Saturday, June 25th and 26th from 9 to 5 on Friday and 8 to noon on Saturday. There is also a carwash and bake sale on Saturday morning. The event is sponsored by the Keota Community Club.

Description: A celebration on Flag Day at the cabin in Washington’s Sunset Park is set for Sunday with Keota Brass performing at 1:30. There will also be a short flag retirement, American Legion Riders and a speaker from the U.S. Army. You are encouraged to bring a lawn chair.

Title: How to Read Your Medicare Summary Notice Program
Description: The Senior Medicare Patrol is presenting a community education program, How to Read Your Medicare Summary Notice, at the Wapello Congregate Meal Site on Wednesday, June 23 beginning at 12:40 p.m. This program is an hour in length and Senior Medicare Patrol volunteer Richard Tiemeyer will be the presenter and handouts will be available.

Description: Bring your six month to twelve year old to the YMCA for Parent’s Night Out and they will enjoy age appropriate activities, swimming and much more while you enjoy your time alone! A light snack will be provided. Swimming will be available to children ages 3 and up, please bring swimsuit and towel. The event is Saturday from 5:30 to 9pm.

Title: Head Shaving Fundraiser
Description: Dr. Ryan Flalnnery is shaving his head for his role as Daddy Warbucks, and to raise money for awareness of the American Cancer Society and Relay for Life. Free will donations will be accepted for these causes. The Event is Sunday at 4:30 at the Central Park Bandstand.

Description: The Gracehill Moravian Church is celebrating its annual homecoming on Sunday, June 27th at 10:30am. Bryan Gates is the guest speaker. A potluck lunch will follow the service. A business meeting will be held after the meal. All are welcome to attend.
