Description: Kalona Days is being held Friday, June 14th and Saturday, June 15th. The 5K run will take place Friday, with the peddle pull, antique vehicle show, and street dance on Saturday.

Description: This year’s West Chester Daze is being held Friday, May 31st through Sunday, June 2nd. Events on Friday include a bean bag tournament and karaoke, and the parade, horseshoe tournament and street dance on Saturday.

Title: Community Awareness Event
Description: 5th graders through adults are welcome to attend a Community Awareness Event at Parkside Activity Center in Wellman on Tuesday, May 21st from 7 to 9pm. The event will focus on synthetic drugs.

Title: Girls Basketball Camp
Description: The Southeast Iowa Girls Basketball Camp is being held at Washington High School Monday, June 3rd through Thursday, June 6th from 1 to 4pm. The camp is for 4th through 8th graders. For more information call Phil Long at 461-4630.

Description: The Keota Farmers Market will open its second season on Monday, May 20th. The market will be open from 5 to 7pm. There will also be food booth raising money for Relay for Life of Keokuk County.

Title: Veteran Poker Run
Description: “Veterans Reaching Out to Veterans” Benefit Poker Run is being held in West Chester on Saturday, June 1st at noon. Entry fee is $10. You can join in with a motorcycle or vehicle.
