There is currently one case of West Nile Virus reported in western Iowa, as the summer flooding in that part of the state has increased the number of mosquitoes there.

Knowing if You Have West Nile Virus

There are currently no West Nile Virus cases reported in humans or animals in Iowa, but the summer flooding in western Iowa has increased the number of mosquitoes in that part of the state.
