There are a couple of college signings for two of those Demons mentioned in last night’s basketball game.

The Demon wrestlers go on the road tonight to face Mount Pleasant in only the Demons second conference dual.

The 13th ranked Demon girls basketball team hosts Central Lee tonight.

The Demon boys basketball team was in Benttendorf taking on Morning Star Academy and the Demons won big putting up 90 points.

Also on Saturday, the Demons basketball teams were hosting their Pink Out Night, Coaches vs. Cancer. As part of the night both teams wore pink jerseys that were auctioned off at the end of each game and both teams won their games against Tipton going away.

In the boys game the Demons got down early but had a three point lead by the start of the second quarter. They led 35-27 at halftime and would win 79-63.

The Demon boys played a tight game through much of the game with Mount Pleasant but foul trouble and the Panthers outside shooting helped the Panthers to an eight point win.

It will be a battle of two unbeatens as the Washington Demon boys basketball teams goes on the road to face rival Mount Pleasant.
