Early Morning Water Rescue Involving 17 Year Old Brighton Resident

Yesterday morning at approximately 3:55 am, the Washington County Communications Center received a 911 report of a vehicle that had driven into water over the roadway at  McKain’s Access on Dogwood Avenue near 295th Street in Brighton.

A traffic accident on old Highway 92 completely blocked traffic for almost two hours this morning. The Washington County Communications Center says a tractor trailer was too tall to fit under the overpass near Walker Livestock near Washington and smashed into the structure. The roadway was closed from about 8:30 until approximately 11:00 am.
