Christmas Concert

The Washington Choral Society will perform their Christmas concert “Joy” on Saturday, December 5 at 7:30pm at the United Presbyterian Church. They will be performing with the guest choir “Sound of Washington”. Tickets are available at the door, $10 for adults and $5 for students.

The United Presbyterian Church’s Read and Feed book club will meet Thursday, November 19 at 11:45 am. This month’s book is “Open Secrets” by Richard Lischer. Bring your lunch and share in the discussion.

Francis W. McAvoy

Funeral services for 90 year old Francis W. McAvoy of Washington will be at 10:30 Friday morning at the United Presbyterian Church. Burial will be in Elm Grove Cemetery. Visitation will begin at noon Thursday with family present from 6-8. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the United Presbyterian Home.
