Prep track and field post season sites released

The high school track and field season pretty far off but the state has already released the sites for district/regional meets. The meets are essentially the qualifying meet for state, the boys call it districts and the girls call it regionals.

Washington’s Davis receives Coach of the Year award

A Washington Demon junior high coach has won a Coach of the Year award. The Iowa Association of Track Coaches named Washington 8th Grade Boys Track and Field Coach Duane Davis was recently presented with the award.
