Iowan Delegation Returns from China

As previously reported by KCII, a delegation of Iowans traveled to China to repay the visit by China Vice President Xi Jinping. Iowa Soybean Association President-elect Mark Jackson of Rose Hill was part of that delegation.

Iowa’s Agricultural Relationship to China

Iowa is building a cooperative relationship with China in terms of agriculture. On Wednesday a Chinese delegation signed 15 contracts to purchase soybeans from the United States, most of those soybeans coming from Iowa and Illinois, the two biggest producers of soybeans in the US.
