The National Weather Service in the Quad Cities has placed our area under a Blizzard Warning. The warning begins at 9:00 pm this evening and ends tomorrow night at 6:00pm. According to the National Weather Service, a blizzard warning means that falling and blowing snow with strong winds and poor visibilities of one quarter mile or less are occurring or imminent. This will cause whiteout conditions and make travel very dangerous. If you need to leave your home for any reason, you are advised to travel with extreme caution.
