The main support beam for the building is rotted and severely damaged.

The back wall of the building is in very poor condition. There are many missing bricks and voids in the mortar.

Parts of the main beam have fallen to the floor from areas shown in the previous two photos.

The bricks in the stairwell are soft and falling apart. The “red dust” on the stairs is the deteriorated brick from the wall.

A report filed by Washington’s City Engineer says an unused building in the city “needs to be secured … to not allow entry” due to unsanitary conditions and other factors that could lead to it officially being designated as unsafe.
