Family Fun Day

The Bows and Bullets 4-H Shooting Club will hold a Family Fun Day Saturday, September 19 from 9:00 am 3:00 pm. The event will be held at Highland Hideaway and will feature hunting seminars, shooting galleries, and raffles. Contact Joel at 319-530-1234 for more information.

Bows and Bullets holding Family Shoot Day

The Washington County 4-H’s Bows and Bullets Club is having it’s first ever Family Youth Shoot Day this Weekend. Shooting Instructor Joel Van Zante says they’ll have activities for kids of all ages. He says they hope to showcase what the organization is all about. an Zante says bows will be provided for archer shooting. He says kids over twelve who want to shoot firearms must bring their own gun. The event is this Saturday from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm at the Highland Hideway near Riverside.
