Forms Due For 4-H Youth Participating in Omaha Stock Show

Entry forms and fees for Washington County youth exhibiting at the Ak-Sar-Ben Stock Show September 23rd to the 25th in Omaha, Nebraska are due today. Forms, rule books and information are available at the Washington County Extension office, by calling 653.4811, or online at RiverCityRodeo.com/stock-show.
DNA Tests Needed to Compete at Ak-Sar-Ben

The Ak-Sar-Ben 4-H Livestock Exposition in Omaha is coming up, and the Washington County Extension is reminding youth interested in exhibiting swine or feeder calves, that they must have DNA samples collected by June 1st. The DNA samples have to be collected by an Extension staff member. Nominating through the Iowa State Fair process is not accepted for Ak-Sar-Ben. To schedule a time for your samples to be collected, contact the Washington County Extension.
