The Riverside City Council was recently briefed on their Community Building Committee’s progress. According to City Administrator, Rusty Rogerson, the committee’s overall goal is a new community center.

Paula Walton, with the committee, updated the council on what they’ve been working on. In addition to a survey and conversations with other non-profits, the group has toured area facilities, like Wellman’s Parkside Activity Center.

She also showed proposals for a feasibility study, which would show whether the community supports the project, and if the city can financially support it.
