Processors Encourage Deliveries Prior to Winter Storm

As the upcoming winter storm approaches, grain buyers from all over Iowa are looking to the skies with the hope of keeping a steady crop of corn and soybeans coming in for processing. Much of Washington and Keokuk Counties grain enters markets in Burlington, Muscatine, Cedar Rapids, and Eddyville. Ray Jenkins with Cargill Eddyville tells KCII News that if farmers are considering selling grain this week, many processors in the area are encouraging deliveries prior to the arrival of the storm Thursday.
