An investigation involving illegal use of firearms resulted in an arrest in Wayland on Monday, according to the Henry County Sheriff’s Office.

As a result of the warrant, Robert Sinn, 31, was arrested for intimidation with a dangerous weapon and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. A large amount of drug paraphernalia was also present in the home.

Further charges are pending for other individuals at the residence.

The Henry County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Wayland Police, Mt. Pleasant Police, New London Police, the Iowa State Patrol and the Southeast Iowa Drug Task Force.
