Traffic on Highway 1 will continue to be affected by construction for most of the day. The area of Iowa State Highway 1 from Highway 78 and 92, near Brighton, will be reduced to one lane in both directions at times. The bridge maintenance work that’s affecting traffic began yesterday morning and is expected to wrap up today around 5. The Iowa Department of Transportation advises drivers to keep an eye out for their flaggers.
