The Highland girls pick up a win in the post season, beating Wapello 44-34.

Highland was only outscored in the fourth quarter 12-11, otherwise held Wapello to single digit points in the first-third quarters.

The Huskies were led by Kassie Vazquez with 19 points on the year, while Kelsey Doreo had 10.

Head coach Jody Fink said it wasn’t a pretty game, but they of course will take the win.

Highland plays again on Friday against Iowa City Regina who won 55-32 over
