The Community Foundation of Washington County is looking for high school students to apply for a new grant. The 500 dollar scholarship will go to a member of the 2013 graduating class.  Applicants  need to be residents of Washington County, and they must be pursuing a degree from a university, community college, or trade school in Iowa.  The applications are available on the foundation website [www.cfwashingtoncounty.org ^[1]].  Applications are also available at the high schools in the county.  Applications are due April 1.

The Community Foundation of Washington County is part of the larger Community Foundation of the Great River Bend based in Bettendorf.  They help establish endowment funds that support other charities over many years.
