A local woman that has spent 29 years helping the Washington Community Chest is stepping down from her role with that group. Today, Roberta Lampkin is being recognized at an open house in her honor.  Lampkin is the Secretary and Treasurer of the Community Chest, which raises money for several local non-profit groups.  The open house is at one of the agencies community chest has supported: Lending Hands Adult Day Care.  It’s from 1:30 to 4:30.
