Kalona will turn its attention to the city park this year.City Administrator Ryan  Schlabaugh says they’ve started planning improvements for the Kalona City Park that would include upgrading equipment, resurfacing, and painting. He shares once they have the plan and a cost estimate, they’ll present it to the city council, most likely in mid-February. He says they hope to start the project this spring.
