People from all over southeast Iowa gathered at the Washington Public Library yesterday, to learn more about how changes to mental health services in the state will affect those with disabilities. Representatives with Iowans with Disabilities in Action or ID Action have been traveling across the staff addressing concerns of those who work for or benefit from some aspect of Iowa’s mental health services. The speakers gave an in depth look at the 2012 Mental Health & Disability Services Redesign and then opened it up to questions from the audience.
