A drunken driver was found in the ditch yesterday evening. At around 8pm, the Henry County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a vehicle in the ditch in the 2100-grid of Franklin Avenue.The vehicles owner and operator, 29-year-old Zachary Thomas Cornwell of Wellman was found at the scene, and then arrested for Operating While Intoxicated, 1^st offense. He is currently in Henry County Jail awaiting his initial appearance.

A criminal charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
